Published on 21 August 2025

Pearce Construction is proud to announce it has been shortlisted for two categories in the highly respected National Federation of Builders (NFB) Construction Awards of Excellence 2025, celebrating outstanding achievement across the UK construction industry.

The company’s transformative work on The Guildhall in Barnstaple has been recognised in the Remarkable Restoration and Renovation / Heritage and Conservation Project category, honouring excellence in preserving and revitalising heritage structures. This historic building, which has stood at the heart of the town for centuries, has been carefully restored to blend modern functionality with its rich architectural legacy.

In addition, the company’s innovative Market Gardens development in Great Torrington has been shortlisted in the Outstanding Residential Development category. This project showcases thoughtful design, sustainability, and a commitment to creating high-quality, community-focused housing.

Now in its 2025 edition, the Construction Awards of Excellence are organised by the NFB and judged by an independent panel of industry experts. Finalists were selected through a rigorous and impartial process, with entries evaluated on excellence in delivery, innovation, leadership, sustainability, and overall impact.

Winners will be announced at a gala ceremony on 6th November 2025 at the Burlington Hotel in Birmingham, a key highlight in the UK construction calendar.

“This recognition reflects the dedication, skill and pride of our entire team, being shortlisted for not one but two national awards is a testament to our commitment to quality, heritage, and community-led development.”
