Pearce Construction is a regional building contractor and housing developer based in Barnstaple. We are looking for a Trainee Administrator to join our busy contracting department.
You will learn a variety of administration duties required to support the contracting team in tendering for new work and delivering high-quality building projects. The role will also include reception telephone support and maintaining our website. Longer term the role may develop into supporting our quality and environmental management systems to support our journey to net zero.
The role will commence as a formal apprenticeship and is open to those of any age and does not require prior experience. Familiarity with MS office software is an advantage. Those already studying on a full or part-time business study course may be able to convert to an apprenticeship without re-starting the course.
The role is full-time, based in our office in Barnstaple 8.30am and to 4.45pm Monday to Friday.
The rate of pay is commensurate to experience.
The role has 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, and following an initial trial period, the company pension scheme can be joined with an employer contribution.
